Centrally located in downtown Houston, the GRB is easily accessible from all areas of the city- no matter how you choose to commute. There are several transportation options available to visitors traveling from either of our two nearby airports, staying in hotels around the city, or exploring some of Houston's exciting dining and entertainment destinations.

Campus Street Closures

Visitors can plan ahead for their trip to the GRB by keeping up to date with area street closures and detours. The street closures map provides the most current information about traffic impacts around the convention campus.

Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) projects will affect the IH-69 northbound exit to Polk St. from May 27, 2025 to June 30, 2025. Click here for detour information.

Convention Campus Parking Garages

For visitors arriving by car, there are four convenient on-campus parking garages, including two that are connected via covered skybridge. All campus garages are located within walking distance of the convention center and bike parking is available in Avenida North, South, and Tundra Garages. ADA accessible parking options are available.

Parking Rates

Use the ticket received upon entrance to pay for parking at any of the kiosks conveniently located by garage elevators. No cashier on duty.

Please note: Hourly rates begin at 2 am in all convention campus garages. Parking rates are subject to change by event or availability.

If event rates are in effect, they are posted outside of each garage and are paid upon entrance.

Parking Reservations

Plan ahead with reserved parking. It's fast, easy, and convenient.
